J., Underestimating Russian soldiers is the reason that our side is heading for an ignoble defeat. Those “illiterate” guys were able to chew out and spit out everything the US and EU threw at them. And - you can’t blame the Ukrainian soldiers - they fought and did their duty honorably and competently. Their politicians and generals - not so much. Btw, according to Russia, they use contract soldiers and veterans. Very few young conscripts - in supporting roles.
