I stopped following the institute for Study of War. The only thing you learn there is what is it exactly their editors want you to think. To be fair, out of all of them, Vicky Nuland is the only one not afraid to get her hands dirty - when needed, she can arrange a coup as good as any Soros has done. Instructing the U.S. ambassador in Kiev as to who should become the next president as well as the top officials of Ukraine in 2014 was her moment of stardom. A pity it’s been ruined by her little “F the EU” outburst. Some took it hard. Merkel turned particularly whiny. But Merkel survived. Vicky got promoted. She’s a big shot now. Likely, reaching her level of incompetence.
