Traders also said the threat of a labor strike in Korea, where one third of the world's memory chips are made, was helping TI's shares. Shares of Micron Technology Inc (MU - news), the other U.S. maker of memory chips, were up 7/8 to 36-3/4, after reaching an intra-session high of 37-05/16.

DJ, Thanks very much for the pricing updates. I think the Reddy's will continuously move toward the growth and higher margin areas, so that should help a lot.
