I have been in three class action suits. I think I might have gotten around $150 once; another time I got $59; the last time I got a check for a big $1.12!! It takes years and years for these things to settle, and to say that the lawyers get almost all of the money is an understatement. Right now the following stocks I own are being sued: Boeing, 3com, Medpartners ( and, of course, IOM). I think the laws need to be changed or at least clarified.
