Thanks for posting that, the writer made quite a few reasonable and innovative points in terms of how our current system works and how unfair it is to smaller practices. I had surgery myself today, the surgeon used this 2 million dollar 'da Vinci' robot to perform it, I must admit I was a bit 'intimidated' when they wheeled me into the OR and I actually saw this thing. The surgeon operates it from a console next to the actual robot sort of like a video game. This thing can peel a grape as shown in the short video below. youtube.com

Good article, but we know why we are so far behind the other countries mentioned. The Republican party!! Look how many times they tried to get rid of the ACA and it is a terrible system compared to a great system like Medicare for all, like so many other countries. And we need more medical schools and medical systems like planned parenthood, and more affordable education all of which the Republicans oppose. I know that seems simplistic, but it is the whole truth. Had the Democrats been in power the last 50 years we would have universal health care, better health care and affordable prescriptions, etc.
