BC, The USSC is actually ending federal dictatorship and returning decisions to the State level where those decisions belong. The decision over abortion shouldn't necessarily "belong" to the states. The only reason why it does at the moment is because the Constitution doesn't explicitly guarantee a woman's right to kill her own unborn child. Hence the 9th and 10th amendments apply. That's also the reason why there is a fight in Congress over federally codifying the laws regarding abortion. The right wants to ban abortion across all 50 states. The left wants to guarantee abortion across all 50 states. Neither side is willing to budge, unsurprisingly. The resulting gridlock means the decision will remain with the states for the foreseeable future. Tenchusatsu
