The volume is very low too. That bothers me more than the price action.

eddie, be optimistic and patient. first of all, i think cpq is a great mid and long term play. volume in march and april 40 call options were pretty good today indicating bullish sentiment. also, big guns on wall street are looking for further climbs for the dow. generally, 300 - 500 points. cpq may suffer a bit tomorrow thanks to amat's bearish comments following their earnings release. but with all of the good news from cpq lately and the growing perception that the market is realizing what a good deal dec was, i think this stock will go 40+ soon. still can't get over the p/e differential between cpq and dell. also, don't forget that the dec deal (which has been driving up the price) is not yet closed. there are many arbs betting on the slight possibility that the deal will fall apart. as time passes, that deal diminishes and the feel good perception about the deal should really boost the stock.
