Sam, This is what happens when people are in a bubble. I am sure that Messing is only around people that think like her so she feels it is ok to spout off about this. Someone should sit her down and talk to her and explain things but I am not sure that it would make any difference. You should just need to ask if she would want McConnell as head of the Senate and for Republicans to pick the next couple of Supremes to maybe let it sink into that head of hers. Especially with Roe being overturned, she should understand the importance of making sure that you vote, although if she lives in California, it might not make a difference. But it may make a difference in a state where things are closer, and she should be smart enough to figure that out.
