Brad,
From another very satisfied SI user...THANKS!!!

re...Ignore option...Please set something up. There is only one poster I would choose to ignore at the moment but never having this person's posts appear on my screen would be a wonderful boon. Hitting NEXT works but I still end up reading the first three or four lines of (almost invariable) venom and it spoils the whole experience. Some posters have no couth and verbal diarrhea, an unbearable combination, please let me just IGNORE them.

On another topic...finances. A recent article said that you and Jeff have turned down some rather rich offers for SI. Glad you have so far resisted what must be rather tempting. If you need to raise capital I would suggest that you offer stock to SI members. Keep 50+% so you keep control.

®We'll have charts and data on all stocks and indices soon...within 2 weeks or so.¯

That sounds fantastic Brad! Seems like I always end up owning a stock that's not included in the current list or I want to do a comparison with one that not included.

Brad, is it possible to subject mark an SI clubhouse so one could see if any new messages have been posted without going to the clubhouse?

Thanks for the great work.

Cisco

Brad, Jeff:

Have you guys figured out a way to get continuing
revenues from SI. New member fees will give you temporary
respite from the need for cash, but if they're lifetime
fees they don't continue. You can't expand that way forever,
or you're another social security administration. :(

And if it's from advertising, we members will bear the brunt.

I'd rather pay a few bucks a year into your pocket. Figure
out how to do that so you can stay in business.

I know I bought a lifetime membership, and I know you have to
honor that. Figure out what privileges a lifetime member that
isn't willing to ante up a few buck a year can retain, then
put it out to us that you can't survive if we don't kick in.
And give us future privileges for doing so.

Because unless you find a way of making money that I'd love
to find, you can't survive without continuing revenues from
members unless you compromise what SI is.

You've refused to do that. And we love you for it.

But if you don't get a continuing revenue source, you
will fail. And then what will our lifetime memberships
be worth, eh?

Best regards,

Spots
