Texas Power Grid. Yesterday afternoon, according to Ercot website, demand was 79k MW with 2600 MW reserve. According to my math, (no data on Max. capacity), Texas was running 95%-96% full capacity. I cannot find any data on back-up and my understanding all NG facilities are running.

Sad day the great energy state of Texas having to depend on China made wind turbines.

Were not even in August yet! With 100+ degree weather and a hot as the hinges of hell forecast, I am concerned there is no margin for mishaps. NG facilities have to power down for maintenance at some point. Hopefully no more "accidental" fires. I'd say more on that but it's an open forum.

Hopefully we can get a break in the weather. Power goes down my house becomes the neighborhood safe haven. Usually don't mind however the Fauci virus is once again all around us. I don't want it in my home.

Survival of the fittest. Having a difficult time with that! I have to practice what I preach.
