Larry King took a weird personal ark. He started off in radio as a cleaned up Art Bell-like product. Art Bell was amusing way back when - I'd record it and listen at 2x speed - skipping commercials. Larry King morphed from his chimney smoking conspiratorial tolerant persona into a entertaining talk-show / discussion product. I'd watch him. And later went the path of legitimate interview. He was clearly entailment and didn't frame that he was "news-later" until later. We should blame who is at fault - not the talent but he management - Rupert Murdoch who brought his brand to three different English-speaking countries - Britain, Australia and the United States where he go an unorthodox and illegal citizenship that allowed him to come into our news media which prohibited foreign control by law.
