Probably a combination of the "wisdom of crowds" combined with one step back, 1.00001 step forwards. We could be at the end of this cycle based on climate change, as well as the reemergence of ultra nationalism and colonialism too. Are we phucked, or is there a 1.00001 path forwards from this bottoming? One more thing George Carlin had right; humans and our modern utopian dreams may be phucked but the planet and universe will survive without a bump in the road.
