Good on them for this... but its still a regressive tax... and its still gonna hurt that workin' dad in the only car he can afford...

I'm all for EVs but too often white collar bureaucrats don't put themselves in the shoes of working people. An EV would not work for me period. I knew Trump would be nominated because many of my clients had regulatory horror stories. I did not think he'd be elected.

I could go deeper into the horror stories... but it'd be a LONG LONG post and I have to work... I'm not salaried, I don't push paper.

Doesn't matter to me if California is in denial about the freeways or the city or the county... they all suck when it comes to roads. And pretty much they suck on mass transit too.

Bureaucracies to me are the same, corporate or government. There are good bureaucrats and bad ones, but the less people pushing paper the more people building shit that's actually useful. Like homes. A politician never put in a sink or roofed a roof...

Except Jimmy Carter
