Thanks for response, I guess the gist of what I was getting at is that I never understood how these were beneficial for shareholders and you are confirming my suspicion that they generally are not.

I have another question, why do you recommend puts on gtw as opposed to aol for example. I believe that gtw is in a cut-throat business, but aol is as well. And from what I see, aol has further to fall. It just has not "broken down" yet.
