Took a break and went by the post office to pick up my mail and got a surprise. The March 1998 issue of Scientific American has a special report titled "The End of Cheap Oil: It's Coming Fast. But New Technologies Might Prevent an Energy Crisis". This special report is made up of four articles which provide a good overview of the issue. The fourth article of the report is titled "Liquid Fuels From Natural Gas". It's a good article which describes the need for GTL, a history of GTL, some of the players (unfortunately no plug for RNTK) and the future of GTL. Froland.
