Mohan, why such suspicion? How about perhaps some funds had cash they needed to put to work? Can't believe everything is a squeeze. Many of cos being driven up do not have large short interest. Pete

Mohan, It is possible the programs were meant to throw oil on the fire, but it is also possible it was just institutional buyers suckering in because everyone else was buying.

The productivity numbers will be touted for awhile. They always are when the quarterlies come in above the annual rates. Then, when they fall back in the Spring and Summer, the bulls ignore them. -g-
