"As usual, run to straw men arguments when you can't defend the indefensible"

Inflation's a fact, here and abroad. There are a number of reasons for that, but it's always customary to blame everything on the guy at the top.. Right now, there's not a lot any president can do about some of it, at least in the short run, except feel our pain as we ride it out, and scream "Roe interracial and gay marriage contraception" every day, if it's an election year. I suppose he could try to convince the EU and NATO to give Putin the keys to Ukraine in exchange for fossil fuels, grain, and a promise to look the other way when he walks into the Baltics, and then Poland. There's not much he can do about produce shortages from California. He thinks some supply chain issues can be addressed by building a chip plant in the US, but that doesn't help in the short run, either.

There's also not much he can do short term about the labor shortage and a wage-price spiral. More green cards is prolly the quickest. Some who decided to drop out of the labor force during covid might be forced back in by inflation.. Some who used the opportunity to be their own boss might have to go back to being an employee.

One thing he might try for an immediate help is using the NDPA to seize all the solar panels in the country, and rush them down to Texas. Texans might even thank him before they attack him for being the solar socialist dictator who created a national panel shortage.
