I see your point and appreciate that aspect, better than a poke in the eye with a stick. However, it wasn't the tribe that was wronged (directly, I can see a case for indirect harm) by the initial disrespect. I also worry that this is a show (cheaper than a war in Ukraine, for instance) and a substitute for some other direct action that might address things now. The elders get their moment in the sun and nothing changes. I'm not up on Indian issues, I'm sure they vary, depending. Knee jerk reaction, things like this remind me of the head FDA guy not that many years back. Really hard on orphan drugs and off label uses. Wife comes down with something bad, odd ball drug sails right through. People said Halleluiah, FDA guy saw the light. Or how we're admonished to take the entire course of an anti-biotic, lest we let the really hardy ones loose. And then are ordered to take a leaky experimental fluid and nobody ever heard of "really hardy" anything, ever. Same people. Liars and thieves. Butchers and pedophiles. A crime syndicate. Biden pushes seriously enhanced prison time for crack cocaine while funneling money and protection to Hunter to buy crack. And someone installed him as president. Sorry for the rant, I think smug John Bolton set me off tonight.
