A lot of those folks not wearing masks are Republicans and believers and that is allowing the mutations.

I just read that the more times one gets covid the more likely they are to get long covid?

I am still the only one wearing a mask at the poker club.

As someone who values the scientific method for improving life processes over "faith" I've had the same arguments with people over decades. It usually breaks down into vitriol. Nobody changes their mind. religious people get captured by the right who don't argue with them because Big Oil and banks need those votes.

Most "religious" people in our society accept science based medicine and technology for example rather than supernatural pathways. Even though they are sometimes too blind to see that.

I can see why the founders chose church-state separation over a national religion or a national non-religion
