I wouldn't be surprised if analysts rationalize away a poor showing for AOL earnings, just like they did the drop in advertising revenues last time. There are too many analysts who have issued a strong buy on this stock to allow it to fall. I don't understand why they always put a positive spin on Case's every move. To me, raising prices is an admission that his business plan is not working. It's the worst possible action a company can take, because it shows they don't know how to control expenses.
