If only that (creation) were the limit to their verbosity. We have lots of people who TALK to their invisible friend/controller and want that discourse to be considered by us as actionable.

I draw the line there - and would rather change the topic to something that actually is actionable. The problem IMO is that what people want to discuss is whether they are Giants or Jets fans but not discuss total yards, attempts, or completions. We can't factually connect because they start with what they believe and a set of distortions.

If I were to tell them to never to change their oil because the Bible is silent on it (hmmm, abortion and prayer in school, oddly) I'd just provoke them. Been there done it. Got the keystrokes.
It doesn't help if we ('progressives' - liberals - centrists - lefties - whatever) publicly flay each other on such points, let alone our opponents. I said go easy - even lie - let the people who can still hear a message hear it without getting up in their grills about it. I'd say based on personal experience - keep the atheism "in your pants".

If you have to frame an issue as you would to a child, do so. We just need them to vote - and given we get no judgment from any Almighty that matters. Shmoo 'em in. (Thanks for that - Ratty). Let them read it as they may.

What's the metaphysical harm of someone voting your way for incomplete or wrong reasons? None.
