Generally and not directed at anyone here in particular: We are about to get our political, moral, ethical and science based asses kicked Mine is a question of narrative and what we choose to focus on. We only have so much time left to the midterm election. We need to get outside our "educated" elitist bubbles and into narratives that are on the minds of people who may not look, eat, feel, define freedom or value higher education as we might. Who may not have a socialist vision based on reading Karl Marx or Bertrand Russell -- perhaps they prefer Groucho Marx and Leon Russell* (RIP. ) Or they read the Koran or New Testament, or prefer The Bachelor to Democracy Now. In fact this is generally my biggest (peaceful) disagreement with the non troll people on SI. We need to be more inclusive of audiences while not sacrificing our GOALS, so aged but still inclusive and relevant. Can we all agree with the Declaration Of Independence without arguing about the phrase "endowed by their Creator"? “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.” * But first
