Yeah, that's what I was thinking too. In fact, Franken may have run in 2020 and been elected and we would actually have a smart articulate genuinely funny and thoughtful person as president. I got a call from Gillibrand who was fundraising when she made her brief run for president back in 2016 I think it was. She didn't identify herself but her voice is unmistakeable. Without telling her that I recognized her voice, I told her I wasn't a fan. She asked in an exasperated voice, "Why not?!" I said she should not have treated Franken like she did. She thanked me and hung up.

I have wondered if others told her the same.
