USA Global said its investment for this phase of the Global InterNetwork deployment will exceed $500 million. 3Com will receive a sizeable chunk of the $500 million, said USA Global spokesman Mark Petrick. 3Com is the premier manufacturer of carrier-class multi-service access platforms and VOIP-access solutions.
