Buttigieg is pathetically stupid, there is not enough battery metals to feed the need. Mining all these imaginary new deposits would create the biggest carbon footprint the world has ever seen. They better hope the big new deposits are not found in the USA or Canada because permitting new mines in these jurisdictions can take up to 20 years.
