"I never said anything about KO -- all I deal with are tech stocks, so I have no idea
what the correct valuation for a soda-pop company is.>
You were referring to there being no irrational exuberance in the MARKET...you
didn't say in technology stocks. I was referring to those stocks that were leading the
MARKET to new highs, and higher valuations in recent years. Wouldn't KO

Historically I don't think there has ever been a correction in Coke! If your great grand parents owned this you would be a very rich man!!! This is one of the best all time ever stocks!!!! Only the last few years have shown a slow down?

>>>Oh, and if our economy is THAT perfect, Asia wouldn't have a "mosquito on an elephant's ass" affect on our markets.<<<

As long as there exists a global economy, we should feel the effects of ANY nation's market turning sour. Of course, the larger the stone, the bigger the splash.

As for the tulip bulbs phenomenon...hey -- pure supply and demand always makes sense! The world still hoards large supplies of shiny, dense, yellow metal...and to me, other than for industrial use, gold should be no more valuable than aluminum or iron -- probably less(the adornment of metals and rocks is of no practical use). Yet it is still priced in excess of $300/oz? That is irrational exuberance to me...but supply and demand determines that it is not. If the majority decides it is so, than the irrational becomes rational!
