Bobby:

What is the connection between small caps rallying and the price of gold rallying.( That you seemingly intimated about )?
Is it because many of the gold issues are micro cap ect.?

BTW I am heavy into some small cap funds like Vanguard Explorer, and Fidelity Emerging Markets; I noticed this past week there have been days when both the Dow and S&P and NAZ were down and these two funds were in the positive territory. I know that for example the Explorer Fund mirrors the Russell 2000 very closely.

Any comments..gregor

Still think this is the final blowout in stocks. Dow should peak in the 8500=9000 range by mid-March. Small cap rally is another sign we are very late in this paper bull. But I'm not complaining since my biggest position is a small cap fund.

My strong hunch is that financial assets will peak very soon after US bombs Iraq. Gold probably will decline somewhat when that happens. Clinton's buddies on Wall Street \(many of whom are beating the drums for a US attack) will do their best to give Bill a resounding vote of confidence. But it's all downhill from there for financial assets, and the gold bull will then begin in earnest. I suggest that gold investors wait until the US attacks before adding to positions.
