Welcome back, Maxwell.
Regarding You should increase some yourself,
I was about to email you-all that I was going to do just that, but ran out of time Tuesday. Tomorrow is another day.

By the way, IDT (Centaur Winchip) had a conference call in which they said, among other things, that they were expecting big things from their Winchip and the 0.25 Winchip and that their yields were 40% and climbing. Since its a very small die, they expect to make money with an ASP of $60 in 1998.

This pretty much totally debunks the Intellibee's idea that only Intel knows how to build chips cheaply, and its also only a matter of a few months before AMD's yield problems are behind them. IDT did not lose one cent during their C6 development despite starting from scratch with little capital.
