In the meantime Team Modi is baiting Team Biden re Team People’s Republic of China on Team Republic of China. Team Modi does not wish to go toe to toe against Team Xi for fear of having its fresh water turned off. Water, in sufficient negative quantity, is more consequential than oil.



The anchor’s point about Hunter might hold some water. Am not in the know and therefore remain agnostic on that matter, awaiting revelations if any.

Taking BASF off-line might help Russia because it helps China. only China can spin up the machinery to pick up the output fast enough. Nothing in Texas can do so due to feasibility study requirements and another detail, China is one of the largest customers of BASF and BASF is one of the largest investors in China.

Unwise, if one looks at the setup from American perspective. The move is the opposite of friend-shoring.
