BC,
Wouldn't quarantining 3,000 gays that can't control themselves sexually be the standard way to go?
Did we quarantine 3,000 gays when HIV was the big scare? Nope.

Instead, we successfully convinced the public that HIV affects anyone who is sexually active. It got everyone into believing unprotected sex was as deadly as driving without a seat belt on.

And technically it is the truth, that HIV can be transmitted through heterosexual contact as well as homosexual.

But the real truth that they hid was that HIV affected gay men much more often than anyone else. The reason, of course, was that anal sex is inherently risky.

But that's not something that they are willing to teach in schools. Instead, they'd rather just show how to put condoms onto bananas.

But once again it's politicized and you know it.
Of course it's going to be politicized. BFD.,

Still, it's something for public health officials to be concerned about, even if most of us shouldn't have to worry. According to the CDC, monkeypox cases exploded across the US from single digits in May to over 3,000 cases in July.

BC, remember that monkeypox thingy? Apparently we can't even tell gay men to abstain from sex:

As monkeypox strikes gay men, officials debate warnings to limit partners - The Washington Post

“If people want to have sex, they are going to have sex,” said California state Sen. Scott Wiener (D-San Francisco), who is involved in the city’s monkeypox response. “I know people who normally go to sex parties who will not. People will make their own decisions about their own risk levels.
Did you see that? I think it's worth repeating. "People will make their own decisions about their own risk levels."

This as the Brandon administration declares monkeypox to be a "public health emergency":

Monkeypox: Biden administration declares the outbreak a public health emergency | CNN Politics

What's wrong with telling people to abstain from sex until the emergency is over? If they don't want to listen, they don't have to. It's not like anyone is going to make gay sex illegal, even in the face of this "public health emergency."

It is now politically incorrect to get in the way of horny gay men and their sexual urges. Unbelievable.
