Pandemic effects have been rolling of for a few quarters already, so that’s not a concer any more. GOIGL, MSFT and others never traded at the extreme mutiples that other growth stocks that never showed earnings. You are buying GOOGL at less than 20x earnings currently.

Other than META, GOOGL controls platforms like Android, Chrome (Chromebook), YouTube and Google TV.
I bought a Sony 75” with Google Tv opereting system and now watch my news via short clips on YouTube, which is a better experience than my streaming service. That’s just one example where the platform drives user experience.

I will likely hold (and add to) my GOOG position for my entire life. So, no. I don't care about cyclical bounces and dips and stuff. I plan to just hold GOOG forever and leave whatever is left to my kids.
