No biggie. I'm not going to get one because they don't fit my goals. But for some people they fit quite well... daily commuters mostly. And if you buy one you should factor in solar to power them. If you don't you're not very smart. A few grand to never visit a gas station again and tiny or no electric bills... what's to not like?

Long term its gonna be cheaper than gas. Even if you have to rent a vehicle for vacation trips once a year.

I might get one long term. The great thing about them is they are quiet. They are also simpler and more reliable than combustion engines. I would never buy a GM or Ford combustion car... those things have zillions of problems.

Toyota... yes. There again the extra money is worth it... who has time to drop a vehicle off at the dealer for repairs all the time?
