Tenchu's Thoughts: RuZZia is Losing the War
The pro-RuZZian trolls, both on this thread and the ones flooding Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, etc., are bragging that RuZZia is winning, that PooTin is a "master chess player," etc. etc.
And it certainly seems that way every time RuZZia takes a bit of territory, despite the fact that RuZZia is only advancing at the rate of one square kilometer every two weeks.
The truth is that time is not on RuZZia's side. RuZZis is running out of resources, their economy is contracting, their reputation in the world is declining, and PooTin is running to Iran and China for help.
But even if we measure who's "winning" based on RuZZia's stated goals, the picture looks pretty bad for them.
So let's first go over his stated goals:
1) Stop NATO expansionism.
Well that failed. Sweden and Finland are set to join NATO. Russia's border with NATO will expand by 500 km.
2) De-militarize Ukraine.
LOL, Ukraine is training up a million man army and is getting the most modern weapons from Western nations. Ukraine has turned into the most militarized nation in Europe.
3) Protect the separatists in Donbas.
Yeah, by shelling every city, village, and outhouse in the region, RuZZia has ended up killing more RuZZian-speaking citizens of Ukraine than Ukraine ever did in the past decade. Turning the whole place into a potholed mess, then moving in and declaring it "liberated," is not protecting people. Instead, it's pure conquest.
4) dE-nAzIfY Ukraine.
LOL, let me know when Ukraine no longer has any nAzIs within its borders.
Of course, PooTin has ulterior motives, because you know, he's supposedly a "master chess player." So let's go over the unofficial goals of PooTin's war of choice, one-by-one:
1) Conquer Ukrainian territory, presumably for access to natural resources.
So far, only 20% of Ukraine has been taken. That's nothing to brag about given how much RuZZia spent in terms of lives, hardware, money, and international reputation.
And even if RuZZia settles for just that much, exploiting the newly captured territory for its resources is going to be extremely difficult. Ukraine will continue fighting, either in a conventional war or a guerilla war. No way RuZZia can economically develop the area without first doing the following ...
2) Completely defeat the will of the Ukrainians to fight back.
That's not likely. Ukrainians are PISSED off at RuZZians, and rightfully so.
Besides, if the Soviet Union couldn't defeat the will of a bunch of isolated goat-fukkers in Afghanistan, despite the Soviet Union being much bigger than RuZZia is today, what makes PooTin think he can defeat the will of Ukrainians?
3) Turn Ukraine into a landlocked nation.
This is just stupid. What's the point of this, other than to give the trolls in Cyber Front Z something to brag about?
Besides, RuZZia and Ukraine just signed a deal where Ukraine can send grain exports out via boat. (The assumption is that RuZZia will get some relief on economic sanctions in return.) What's the point of RuZZia signing a deal that goes directly against the goal of landlocking Ukraine, unless that goal was bulls--t to begin with?
4) Fight against globalism.
This is some perverse wet dream of the PooTin cucks, that the real threat to the world is NATO, Western colonialism, The Great Reset, etc., and that PooTin is just fighting back against the oh-so-insidious "globalists."
It motivates the conspiracy theory nuts on the right because of their irrational fears over The Great Reset.
It motivates the African trolls working for Cyber Front Z because they're under the belief that RuZZia can free them from Western colonialism. It's stupid because they don't realize that RuZZia (and China for that matter) will end up being more brutal colonists than the West ever was. They clearly don't learn from history, which means they're doomed to repeat it.
But really, this war of choice has nothing to do with globalism. PooTin isn't some champion for the cause of freedom, and anyone who believe otherwise is completely delusional. Neither is Xi Jinping, or Iran, or Syria, or anyone else who is on the side of RuZZia in this war.
By all measures, RuZZia is failing to achieve both its stated and unstated goals.
The only thing PooTin can do now is keep trying until the West gets tired of war.
Because as we all know, PooTin will never tire of war, and he will bravely sacrifice as many RuZZian lives as possible to achieve some sort of egotistical "victory" on his part.
