Steve: I understand that you must do certain things to comply with "know your client rule". I also understand that you can get quick/quicker/more efficent fills once you begin to execute the trade
than probably most of the existing software for remote traders currently available. What I am getting at is when a typical client phones up and
wants in/out at mkt. What would be the typical verbal proceedure you would go through. What I am trying to determine is how quickly
the pre order conversation can be done so as to optimize the timing of the entry/exit.

OK. You asked for it. Steve, nobody wants to talk to you.

hehe

Don't go away mad.

Let me make the point.

Nobody want's to talk to anybody on the phone to make trades. If the computer craps out; then yes I will be ever so thankful to call, your buddy, Ross and get him to enter or exit a position for me.

Excepting for the occasional glitch, I would MUCH prefer not talking to another human soul when making a trade.

For you to try and make a case for the old way in the face of what your own acquaintances are bringing to the table....

They are selling Model T's like hotcakes and your across the street barking out the subtle advantages of the horse and buggy.

Steve, you are right Manhattan Beach Trading is not perfect,

YET!

The wave is building and one of these days it is going to crash onto the BEACH hard! You can get your surfboard or run for the hills...just don't stick your head in the sand.

: )

Life is a beach...

when you have the right broker. : )
