who knows why they wanted the additional money . maybe the expenses are going up for a while. my guess is that they will have to spend some cash soon as part of a joint venture or two. that will bring bigger profits to them in the long run. more importantly, why would someone invest 5mm with them if they didnt think this was going to turn out well? they did their due diligence, probably a great deal of it. and i bet they talked to the people at msc and got some very good answers.
