The PooTin cucks keep telling us that Ukraine is corrupt, but if so, I haven't seen any evidence of that on the battlefield. This is in stark contrast to the corruption of the Afghanistan government that preceded the Taliban takeover of 2021. Hence the war will most likely come to an operational pause, except ... - RuZZia will try even harder to take Bakhmut in the east. They're already throwing hundreds, if not a thousand lives, into that meat grinder every single day. All just to win a moral and political victory. - Aid from the United States will most likely continue. Even if the GOP barely picks up a majority in the House and the Senate, there won't be enough opposition to halt or slow down the flow of aid to Ukraine. - RuZZia will take this time to re-man, rearm, and resupply their armies. They're also taking this time to dig many layers of defensive lines all across the territory they occupy. Any further gains on Ukraine's part will be very difficult. - There's a 50/50 chance that SerGay Shoigu will be removed from power. If that happens, the neo-Nazi head of the Wagner group stands a good chance of taking that spot. - PooTin will try even harder to strike civilian targets and infrastructure, probably by buying tons more drones from Iran and also buying their cruise missiles. He's under pressure to escalate the war even further than before. - Whether PooTin will finally call this sPeCiAl mIlItArY oPeRaTiOn a full-scale war depends on how much he is willing to risk his own hold onto power. Already the "partial mobilization" has created a lot of instability in his regime. No one in RuZZia can pretend that the war doesn't materially affect them. - Ukraine, to their credit, has shown a remarkable ability to underpromise and overdeliver. Hence when Zelensky proclaims that Crimea will be freed, there's a very good chance it will happen in the foreseeable future despite how difficult that seems. - IMO RuZZia should be declared a state sponsor of terrorism, but that isn't likely to happen anytime soon because, quite frankly, the United States, NATO, and the UN lack the backbone to do so. - Finally, the real question is whether PooTin will use nuclear weapons in Ukraine. Although I think it's inevitable that PooTin will do so, I don't think it will happen until sometime late in 2023. And for that to happen, Ukraine needs to continue making gains, especially in Crimea. Speaking of which, why do I think nuclear weapons are inevitable? Because quite frankly, PooTin is not listening to anyone but the Z-nationalists, the chickencucks, and the extreme militants within his own group of supporters. They keep talking about nukes, but they are not trying to convince the rest of the public, who are either indifferent, in denial, or in jail for opposing the war. Instead, *they're trying to convince themselves that nukes are the way to go*. Why? Because like PooTin, defeat simply is not an option to them.
