Dems are not about issues?? When the election starts the Democrats are always about who had a sex scandal or dressed in a poorly chosen costume a decade ago, or failed to condemn someone who incurred similar infractions. I rarely hear them talk about the importance of having a government that is more powerful than an aggressive wealthy private citizen or other reasons that e pluribus unum can be more important to the country than rugged individualism. The focus seems to be on benefits promised to individual interest groups who promise to supply votes and not benefits with more general appeal. I'm sorry, but it has not been a winning strategy for the last few decades.
