The sad part is that Bill's job is one that I don't think ANYONE with any sense of dignity or scruples is going to want to be in... Just look at what happened in the last election... There WAS a person of great merit who I believe would have made an incredibly better choice but was not willing to put himself and his family in that circus... I have to agree 100% with his choice. The question is how to fix this problem so that we can again get people of intelligence and character to accept a bid for public office. Maybe we should be able to draft able bodied citizens into public service and have high standards for whom we will accept as eligable... It's every bit as necessary as a defense capability, probably more so. (I'll lend my soapbox to anyone who wants to use it.) Chuck
