Miraje, my belief is that PooTin overextended and turned the conflict into one which the international community cannot ignore. This is a change from my previous belief that this is a local sectarian matter and should not concern us at all. Studying that sort of stuff would have put me to sleep before the war. But I can recognize when a madman is going back to the old ways of imperialism and killing tens of thousands of people all for the sake of conquest. And while I agree that Ukrainian politicians are likely to be corrupt and their intentions not so pure, the very nature of this conflict compels me to support them, at least morally, against their aggressors.
