First of all, I don't think Government knows best what's good or right for their country. I think China is full of massive, fascist, over social regulation in regard to Covid and their economy. Their continual lockdowns are a disgrace and put down to the human spirit. Above all, their lockdowns have been one big failure after another in terms of preventing or conquering the spread of Covid intermediate term. Secondly, as for the Taiwan issue, if they are so strung out over Taiwan being a part of China, then they should pull a Russia and invade Taiwan and take it over. Telling people not to visit China is just another example of their fascist social control. I support Pelosi visiting China. The more I think about it, the more I realize Trump had the right idea in terms of dealing with China. China is nothing more than a huge market to profit if you can put up with their horseshit. Thirdly, with the exception of two things, I am a hardcore conservative: I believe in socialized medicine or Medicare for all and giving the poor and middle income the choice to succeed in life by offering free public college tuition. If they don't take advantage, drop dead and suffer the consequences unless they are physically or mentally disabled. Fourthly, if you can't stomach my politics or views, move on and post elsewhere. I am a Patriot, no question about that. But I do question everything and have been critical of my country before in terms of its foreign policy in Vietnam and Iraq. Dialogue or conversation is always good. Insults, if they continue, are only gonna get you banned. Honestly, I don't view SI as primarily a social media venue like you do, but a stock market forum. In short: attack and criticize ideas, not the person. If you cannot control yourself from personal attacks, move on or I will do it for you.
