I am envious. Although I have managed to amass 59 episodes of the British series Play for Today, A Cotswold Death is not one of them. I have seen a few things with a young Timothy Spall featured; he inhabits being older so well on screen it is kind of odd to see him as a youngster.

I would go further and say Upstairs, Downstairs is much better than Downton Abbey. It lacks the the self-referentialism that marred the latter for me.
