Re: KGO fuss

I would agree with your assessment of KGO as the 800 pound gorilla in Northern California. I would like to update some information I posted yesterday. I scanned BB's web-site, and noted that some 200+ stations carry MoneyTalk. 21 of those stations are 50,000 watt stations. As I've said earlier, I know nothing about the radio business, but 200 stations says a lot to me.

Can anyone out these school us on the nuances of the radio business?? Bob Jr.??

Maybe we should all call those heating oil futures companies, and tell them how much we appreciate them sponsoring MoneyTalk <gg>

It's obvious that KGO doesn't give a darn about their audience. I have listened to KGO for more than 20 years. Even get in the evenings since I moved to Central Oregon. They must not care because they carry that idiot Barney Ward - I doubt seriously that he has any listeners. Losing Bob Brinker will be a sad day for those in remote areas.
