have to read the 10Q carefully but I bet you they are counting the Compuserve users and revenues etc as if they had been internally grown by AOL instead of consolidating all figures back into the past and then look at the business as it had been a single business before the merger. Also with the very high degree of attention given to quarterly results I always take unaudited figures with a grain of salt. Many Many millions of dollars in market cap are at stake behind each penny, how do we know revenue recognition is according to the rules, advancing some revenues and delaying some costs can make all the difference.
