Tony: ---- The funny thing here is that I am debating (hard) with myself whether to go short on one of these semi-equips. They would make my decision very much easier if AMAT went up over the s/t!!! (Let the longs be euphoric for awhile then! AMAT is a premiere company all around. (Much like your INTC.) But there are times when valuations get excessive because people go ga-ga and miss what's right there in front of their noses. In Oct. last year I was thinking about seriously going short. Heck I would have made a good chunk of change then. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice - no way baby!!!) ----- (P.S. Taiwan is strong, very very strong. My sense is that the Taiwanese are looking at the problems in Japan, Korea and elsewhere and licking their chops! There are 2 strong areas right now - Taiwan and "Europe". However as long as: DRAM spending is down, BTB goes down, and the equip. stocks will go down. Simple in this context!) ----
