I checked the options tonight, and they are very expensive -- well above the fair value determined by the volatility and Black-Scholes. So I think that shorting is the best way to play this.

Aren't stocks still trending up after splits? I don't know if the split is effective Friday morning, or after the close Friday, but it might be prudent to wait until afterwards. Of course, there are some short sellers who wait until stocks start down, rather than trying to top-tick them. The only problem with that is that we don't know if the eventual drop will be a slow and steady erosion, or an overnight 50% drop.
