I think we all suspect that, Thomas, but until someone sees one and finds it comparable to an NBase product we'll never know for sure since both companies remain very closed-mouth about these OEM things.

INTC uses MRVC's ASIC's in their equipment, and per Penn Merchant, they pay MRVC "attractive" royalties.

The full quote from page two of the May 30, 1997 report:

"In 1995 Intel and MRVC embarked on a strategic partnership to jointly develop LAN switches. In November, 1996, Intel further cemented this relationship by acquiring 500,000 warrents (at a $20 strike price).

In January 1997, Intel introduced it's new Intel Express 10/100 Fast Ethernet Switch using MRVC's highly integrated core technologies (ASICs, plus software components). Concurrently, the two companies agreed to shift to a royalty-based relationship for ASICs, which management indicates carry attractive royalties for MRVC."
