i had heard of that but by the time we were vaccinated I don't remember hearing of anyone having problems. My first two girl friends had mild forms of polio, the first showed me her legs one was a bit smaller than the other one and the second girl friend had a bit of an up turned lip both very cute though. I had always wondered how come they were not vaccinated but I think I was 8 when I got my first polio shot, I don't remember the shot only the booster which was on a sugar cube.
