BC, No doubt you believe the lockdowns were science based. Of course they were. The problem is that, when put into practice, the effectiveness of lockdowns fell far short of what the science recommended. And it's because, even among those who trusted the science, complete compliance was virtually impossible. People wore the wrong kinds of masks, or they wore it improperly. Too many indoor establishments had poor air circulation. And even the biggest advocates of masks and lockdowns, namely politicians, were caught disregarding their own recommendations whenever convenient. On the flip side, the only country to have implemented masks and lockdowns consistently and effectively was China. And they're paying a severe price for it. Tenchusatsu
