Dipy: RE: yes, meet LSI, the "Chrysler of the semiconductor industry"! Is INTC GM? And why is LSI not something more like a Mercedes-Benz or VOLVO or Jaguar? That would be more fitting - HIGH end and classy but somehow we must find a company that's not snooty - LSI is not snooty!!! I think LSI is a Jaguar - that would be cool... (TIC)

Dipy, are you saying that you think LSI's current situation is analogous to that of Chrysler a few years ago. i.e. lots of capital spent to leapfrog the competition. If so, I hope you're right. That was a nice ride from 10 to 60.
