Contrary to you I see insect consumption as a positive step as it helps to satisfy global dietary needs without the harmful and unsustainable growth of meat consumption just like plant based foods which are being embraced by more and more people.

Shifting attitudes aren’t always bad especially if they are based on solid dietary science confirming historical facts. Not being open to “unconventional” solutions is simply a mistake in my humble opinion.

Sure, a lot of mistakes have been made in the past. Many driven by ideology / politics.

Bottom line … We need to feed a growing global population. No potential solutions should be disregarded.
